Every nurse’s dream

Attending a nurse practitioner school is probably every nurse’s dream. Nurses seek to gain entry into nurse practitioner schools for a number of varied reasons. However the reasons for the need to gain entry into nurse practitioner schools notwithstanding a nurse basically needs to update his or her skills on a regular basis. This is very important for a nurse to remain competitive in the market. A nurse also needs to update his or her skills and knowledge about the profession to make it possible for the nurse to save lives. I believe that we as nurses take pride in our abilities to save lives, thus every life which is saved from the jaws of sure death gives us a lot of satisfaction like nothing else in this world. This is why as nurses we need to remain at the top, where can be called upon to help save a life of a patient at any time.

A Very Precious Keepsake

If I told you that a locket necklace kept me alive in Iraq you wouldn’t believe me. As a marine I spent several years in the war torn country of Iraq helping to bring peace and stability to the country. What I got to see in the war front was really heartbreaking. I could not believe that people would go to such lengths to disrupt peace.

Basically in this country what kept me going was the locket that I had on my neck. The locket had a picture of my wife and my six year old daughter, the people that I live for. Trust me their images kept me going through the years that I was in Iraq.

At one time that I was almost giving up after being hit in the battle front these pictures gave me the energy to hold on to dear life, I could not leave them all alone.

THE MEMORABLE TRIP TO TANZANIA

My husband and I have always loved the wild life so when the time for our tenth anniversary came near, we decided to go on African Safari tours where we would both enjoy. We chose Tanzania and we picked a nice tour company for our tour. It was the best experience of our lives and the guides were exceptionally informed and friendly. My husband has a back problem but our tour operators and the guides made sure that he would be comfortable everywhere and provided the perfect back support for him whether we were on foot or in an open vehicle. We used to start our tours really early in the morning but were rewarded everyday by watching lions, hyenas, zebras, rhinos and elephants. I even got the opportunity to record the video of wild beasts crossing the Mara River. This was the most exciting experiences of the trip and it was just like I had always seen on TV.
